PANORAMA GUIZHOU, MILAKI SFIORA IL PODIO NELLA SECONDA TAPPA

Ancora una grande prestazione per la velocista campionessa nazionale di Grecia, che trova la quarta piazza nella seconda frazione della corsa cinese (Duyun – Duyun, 135.1 km), alle spalle della giapponese Yumi Kajihara, della bielorussa Hanna Tserakh e della olandese Bryony Van Velzen nella volata che ha deciso il risultato della tappa.

La prestazione odierna conferma le grandi doti di sprinter di Argyro Milaki, capace di giocarsi la volata di tappa grazie ad un ottimo spunto potente, ed ora il suo distacco è di 19” dalla leader provvisoria Sheyla Gutierrez.

Da segnalare le ottime posizioni all’arrivo da parte di Katja Jeretina (14°) e Kseniia Dobrynina (20°), che mantiene salda la maglia a pois di miglior scalatrice.

“La squadra sta lavorando molto bene e in Cina arrivano importanti risultati tutti i giorni. A breve cominceranno le tappe più dure e dovremo essere pronti a giocarcela anche in salita.” – ha dichiarato il Team Manager Dario Rossino.

The national Champion of Greece find another awesome performance, taking the 4th place in the second stage of the Chinese race (Duyun – Duyun, 135.1 kms), just behind the Japanese Yumi Kajihara, the Belarussian Hanna Tserakh and the Dutch Bryony Van Velzen in the sprint that decided the stage.

Today’s performance has confirmed the big qualities as sprinter by Argyro Milaki, who could fight for the stage victory with her powerful speed. She is now only 19” away from the GC leader Sheyla Gutierrez.

Other good results arrive for Katja Jeretina (14th) and Kseniia Dobrynina (20th), who keeps the leadership as best climber, wearing the polka dot jersey.
