GUIZHOU, TEAM SERVETTO SUBITO PROTAGONISTA

La squadra astigiana parte subuto fortissimo alla Panorama Guizhou International Women’s Cycling Race, nuova gara a tappe cinese, raccogliendo il sesto posto di tappa con Argyro Milaki e la leadership provvisoria in Classifica dei GPM grazie a Kseniia Dobrynina. La frazione di apertura (Duyun – Duyun, 120.5 km) è stata caratterizzata da un percorso favorevole alle sprinters: ad avere la meglio è stata la iberica Sheyla Gutierrez su Maria Martins e Daniela Gass, mentre Argyro Milaki, già vincitrice di una tappa al Tour of Zhoushan Island, sfiora il podio arrivando sesta.

Ulteriori soddifazioni arrivano in casa Servetto – Stradalli – Alurecycling grazie alla leadership provvisoria di Kseniia Dobrynina nella classifica delle scalatrici: la giovane atleta russa di Voronezh è infatti salita sul podio vestendo la maglia a Pois.

Domani è in programma la seconda delle cinque tappe previste, ancora nei pressi della città di Duyun.

GUIZHOU, THE TEAM SERVETTO IS IMMEDIATELY AT THE TOP

The Italian Women’s Cycling Team started with a powerful performance at the Panorama Guizhou International Women’s Cycling Race, a new Chinese stage race, with the 6th place taken by Argyro Milaki, and Kseniia Dobrynina as best climber. The opening stage (Duyun – Duyun, 120.5 kms) has had a fast route, good for the sprinters, and the Spaniard Sheyla Gutierrez has won beating Maria Martins and Daniela Gass. The Greek Champion Argyro Milaki, already winner of the Stage 1 of the Tour of Zhoushan Island, caressed the podium ending 6th.

More great results arrived for Servetto – Stradalli – Alurecycling, as Kseniia Dobrynina leads the Climbs classification: the young Russian athlete from Voronezh was on the podium wearing the Polka Dot Jeresey.

Tomorrow there is the Stage 2, again around the Town of Duyun.
