DOMINIO ASSOLUTO AI CAMPIONATI NAZIONALI DI RUSSIA!
Il Team Servetto – Piumate – Beltrami TSA domina in lungo e in largo la prova in linea elite femminile in Russia, vinta da Aleksandra Goncharova e con il bronzo ottenuto da Anna Potokina e la quarta posizione di Kseniia Dobrynina, già terza nella gara a cronometro.
La gara si è disputata su un circuito di 21 km da ripetere sei volte nella città di Belgorod con tanto vento e poca salita: Potokina e Dobrynina tentano l’attacco nel tratto più impegnativo della gara venendo poi riprese. Al penultimo giro Potokina e Goncharova attaccano insieme ad altre due avversarie, e Goncharova sfrutta il lavoro di Potokina andando ad aggiudicarsi la volata finale. “Siamo davvero contentissimi” – racconta Anna Potokina, terza a fine gara – “Il lavoro di squadra è stato perfetto e ho lavorato molto perchè sapevo che Alexandra era la più veloce. Alla fine ho esultato anche io alzando il braccio sotto l’arrivo, come se avessi vinto.”
Con un oro e due bronzi si concludono i campionati nazionali in Russia: “Un bottino davvero importante, siamo alla vigilia del Giro Rosa e questi risultati danno tanta motivazione e morale.” – ha dichiarato il Team Manager Dario Rossino.
TOTAL DOMINATION AT THE RUSSIAN ROAD CHAMPIONSHIPS!
The Team Servetto – Piumate – Beltrami TSA is the overall winner of the Women’s Road Race in Russia, won by Aleksandra Goncharova with Anna Potokina as bronze medal. Kseniia Dobrynina was fourth after the third place in the ITT.
The race was on a circuit of 21 kms to be repated 6 times in Belgorod, with a lot of wind and less climbs: Potokina and Dobrynina tried to attack in the hardest part of the race before being taken. At the penultimate lap another attack by Potokina arrives with Goncharova and two more riders: Aleksandra finalizes the big work by Anna to win the race. “We are very happy” – Anna Potokina says after her bronze medal – “We did a perfect teamwork and I know that Aleksandra was the fastest rider so my work was really important. I did celebrate at the finish line like I would win.”
The Russian Championship end with a gold and two bronze medals: “It’s very important, the Giro Rosa Iccrea is starting in a week and these results give us a great mood and motivation” – Says the Team Manager Dario Rossino.
