EMILIA E BEGHELLI ULTIME GARE ITALIANE DEL 2018

Sabato 6 e domenica 7 ottobre sono in programma a Bologna e Monteveglio il Giro dell’Emilia e il Gran Premio Bruno Beghelli, che chiudono di fatto la stagione delle corse internazionali UCI donne Elite in Italia.

L’Emilia è l’evento sicuramente più suggestivo e prestigioso, grazie al traguardo posizionato in cina alla salita di San Luca, che domina la città di Bologna e che ospiterà il prossimo anno la Grande Partenza del Giro d’Italia maschile. Il tracciato di 98.8 km sarà tutto pianeggiante fino all’imbocco della salita finale, e attraverserà un breve tratto della Provincia di Ferrara.

Il Gran Premio Bruno Beghelli si corre nella località di Monteveglio sul classico circuito di Zappolino da riperere sei volte. I chilometri totali saranno 74.6.

Dario Rossino, Team Manager di Servetto – Stradalli – Alurecycling, ha scelto le atlete Anna Potokina (nella foto), Mossana Debesay, Elena Novikova, Sara Pillon ed Aurora Gaio.

“Il Giro dell’Emilia e il Gran Premio Beghelli sono due corse importanti e sono le ultime della stagione italiana, dunque sarà fondamentale essere protagonisti”, racconta il Team Manager della squadra astigiana.

EMILIA AND GP BEGHELLI THE LAST ITALIAN RACES IN 2018

Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th October the Giro dell’Emilia and the Grand Prix Bruno Beghelli will take place in Bologna and Monteveglio, and they are the final Italian races of the UCI International Road Calendar of the Women Elite season.

The Emilia race is for sure the most suggestive and prestigious event, especially for the finish on the top of the San Luca Climb, with its awesome panorama on Bologna: it will host the Big Start of the next Men’s Giro d’Italia. The route of Giro dell’Emilia is 98.8 kms long, it will pass as well in the Province of Ferrara and it is flat until the begin of the final climb.

The Gran Premio Bruno Beghelli will  be raced in Monteveglio and it has the classic circuit of Zappolino to be repeated six times. The overall length is of 74.6 kms.

The Team Manager of Servetto – Stradalli – Alurecycling Dario Rossino selected the athletes Anna Potokina (in the photo), Mossana Debesay, Elena Novikova, Sara Pillon and Aurora Gaio.

“The Giro dell’Emilia and the Gran Premio Beghelli are two important races and the last in Italy, so it will be important to be protagonists”, says the Team Manager.

THE ROAD WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS START IN INNSBRUCK

The 2018 edition of the World Championships begins today with the Women and Men Elite Team Time Trials, on the Tyrolean roads, in Austria.

The Team Servetto – Stradalli – Alurecycling will be very well represented in both Individual Time Trial and Road Race Junior and Elite: The talented Czech Marketa Hajkova will take part tomorrow morning in the Women Junior ITT from Hall-Wattens to Innsbruck (20.2 kms), then Ana Cristina Sanabria and Mossana Debesay will race for Colombia and Eritrea in the Elite ITT of Tuesday afternoon: Start and finish are the same but the route is 28.5 kms long.

The Road races will begin on Thursday and Marketa Hajkova will be again the team representer in the Junior Category. Her race is 72.8 km from Rattenberg/Alpbachtal to Innsbruck. In the Elite race next saturday the Russians Anna Potokina and Kseniia Dobrynina will add themselves with Sanabria and Debesay. The race route from Kufstein to Innsbruck is 156 kms long and includes the climbs of Gnadenwald, short and steep, and Igls, long about 8 kms, which is in the final circuit

The Team Manager Dario Rossino will closely follow the athletes: “We are at a World Championship and it is very important. Kseniia already demonstrated a great condition in the Tour de l’Ardeche, Anna recovered very quickly from her broken collarbone injury and even with a surgery operation she will take part. Ana Cristina is a climber and we have all seen her qualities on such hard routes like this. We will discover here the qualities of Marketa and Mossana”.

Raisport and Eurosport will broadcast the races on tv.
