| CHINA IS THE NEXT DESTINATION OF THE TEAM SERVETTO – PIUMATE – BELTRAMI TSA
The Italian Women Cycling Team will participate from the 9th to 11th May at the Tour of Chongming Island, a stage race near Shanghai (China), which is valid for the Women’s World Tour.
The three stages are mostly flat and its main seat is the town of New Park City. The stage 1 is 102,7 kms long and it’s followed by the longest one (126.6 kms with start in Changxing Fenghuang Park). The final stage has a distance of 118.4 kms.
The Team Manager Dario Rossino selected the following six athletes for this race: Anna Potokina, Kseniia Dobrynina, Aleksandra Goncharova, Monika Kiraly, Marketa Hajkova (it’s her official debut in a Women’s World Tour race) and Francesca Balducci.
“We hve had a long period of training after the races in Belgium” – says Dario Rossino – “Now we hope to take our chances on the Chinese roads”.
