LA SELEZIONE PER LA DWARS DOOR VLAANDEREN

Destinazione Belgio per il Team Servetto – Piumate – Beltrami TSA, che parteciperà mercoledì 3 aprile alla semiclassica che anticipa di pochi giorni il leggendario Giro delle Fiandre, in programma domenica prossima. 

La Dwars door Vlaanderen si disputa sulla distanza di 108 km da Tielt a Waregem: i primi 68 non presentano particolari difficoltà, che iniziano a questo punto: fino al traguardo si dovranno affrontare i Muri Kluisberg, Knokteberg, Vossenhol, Holstraat, Nokereberg, più i tratti in pavè di Varent ed Herlegemstraat. 

Per la squadra astigiana correranno le russe Anna Potokina, Kseniaa Dobrynina e Aleksandra Goncharova, la ungherese Monika Kiraly e l’italiana Francesca Balducci. Il Team Manager Dario Rossino seguirà in ammiraglia le cinque atlete della line-up. 

Le dichiarazioni di Dario Rossino: “Mercoledì sarà importante testare la condizione in vista di domenica al Giro delle Fiandre, che è la gara simbolo delle Classiche di Primavera. Bisogna sempre farsi trovare pronti, sarà una emozione correre su queste strade ormai diventate mitiche.”

Belgium is the next destination of the Team Servetto – Piumate – Beltrami TSA, which will participate on Wednesday, 3rd April to the Half-Classic Race that anticipates of a few days the legendary Tour of Flanders, planned for next Sunday.

The Dwars door Vlaanderen is 108 kms long, between Tielt and Waregem: the first 68 kms haven’t any altimetrical trouble, but from this point to the finish there will be the climbs of Kluisberg, Knokteberg, Vossenhol, Holstraat and Nokereberg, plus the cobblestoned sectors of Varent and Herlegemstraat. 

The five riders selected are the Russians Anna Potokina, Kseniia Dobrynina and Aleksandra Goncharova, the Hungarian Monika Kiraly and the Italian Francesca Balducci. The Team Manager Dario Rossino will follow the line-up from the Team Car.
