ELENA NOVIKOVA VINCE LA IRONBIKE 2018 – Servetto Piumate Beltrami TSA

In pista, su strada e adesso in MTB: autentico trionfo per la fuoriclasse ucraina nella 25° edizione di quella che viene considerata da molti la gara a tappe di Mountain Bike più dura del Mondo.
L’edizione 2018 si è disputata in 7 tappe ed un prologo, con partenza dal Colle di Tenda e arrivo a Sauze d’ Oulx. Oltre 700 km con 25.000 metri di dislivello sui durissimi sentieri a cavallo tra Italia e Francia, sulle Alpi.

Elena Novikova ha battuto la concorrenza di avversarie importanti quali Nuria Ferrer e Judit Reina Corvillo, assicurandosi il primo posto tra le Donne e il 76° assoluto.
Elena ha indossato la maglia di Leader della classifica fin dal primo giorno portandola fino all’arrivo di Sauze d’Oulx.

“E’ stata una esperienza bellissima, sono davvero felice di aver pedalato in MTB su queste bellissime montagne. I miei ringraziamenti vanno a tutti gli sponsor, alla squadra Servetto, ai miei amici e all’organizzazione, davvero perfetta.” – ha dichiarato Elena Novikova a fine corsa.

ELENA NOVIKOVA WINS THE IRONBIKE 2018

On track, on the road and now off-road: it’s a true triumph for the Ukrainian star in the 25th edition of the event considered as the hardest MTB stage race in the world.

The 2018 edition was divided in 7 stages and a prologue: it started on the Colle di Tenda to end in Sauze d’Oulx. More than 700 kms and 25,000 meters of height difference through the hard tracks between the French and the Italian Alps.

Elena Novikova beated important competitors like Nuria Ferrer and Judit Reina Corvillo (both from Spain), wearing the leaders jersey since the first day until the big finish in Sauze d’Oulx.
