BUONI RISULTATI AL TROFEO ORO IN EURO DI MONTIGNOSO

Archiviata la Strade Bianche, corsa per intero sotto un nubifragio, il Team Servetto – Stradalli Alurecycling ha gareggiato con risultati positivi la manifestazione Open Elite svoltasi a Cinquale di Montignoso (Massa e Carrara). Le atlete dirette da Dario Rossino sono state spesso protagoniste sul tracciato pianeggiante e hanno terminato con il nono posto della greca Argyro Milaki in volata.

La squadra astigiana è stata presente in diverse fughe, soprattutto nei giri finali, in cui si sono viste in testa al gruppo la stessa Milaki e la russa Anna Potokina. La condizione delle atlete era molto buona, grazie ad un buon recupero di forma a poche ore dalla gara World Tour corsa sugli sterrati senesi ricoperti dal fango per il maltempo. Argyro Milaki è stata ottimamente portata in volata e grazie alle sue doti da pistard è riuscita ad entrare brillantemente nella top 10 della gara vinta dall’italiana Marta Bastianelli.

“Una bella prestazione” – ha dichiarato il Team Manager Dario Rossino – “soprattutto pensando alle difficoltà che ieri la Strade Bianche offriva a tutte le partecipanti. Abbiamo recuperato bene e ciò ci ha permesso di ottenere un risultato importante.”

GOOD RESULTS AT THE TROFEO ORO IN EURO IN MONTIGNOSO

With the Strade Bianche over and raced with bad weather, mud and cold, the Team Servetto – Stradalli – Alurecycling has taken good results today at the Open Elite race that took place in Cinquale di Montignoso (Massa e Carrara). The atlethes, directed by Dario Rossino, have been some of the main protagonists on the flat route of the race, ending with the 9th place of Argyro Milaki in the bunch sprint.

The Team from Asti was in many breakaways, especially in the final laps, where Milaki and the Russian Anna Potokina were in the front of the peloton. The condition of the team riders was good, due to a positive recover a few hours after the World Tour race in Siena, with the graveled roads covered by the mud and the rain. Argyro Milaki did a good sprint today and she could enter in the top 10 showing her qualities as sprinter in the race won by the Italian Marta Bastianelli.

“It was a good performance” – declared the Team Manager Dario Rossino – ” especially if we think about the Strade Bianche yesterday, an extremely hard race for everyone. We recovered well and it permitted to us to get an important result.”
