ARDECHE, PREMIO COMBATTIVITA’ A KSENIIA DOBRYNINA SUL MONT SEREIN

Giornata a doppia faccia per il Team Servetto – Stradalli – Alurecycling in Francia: dopo la nottata passata in ospedale insieme ad Anna Potokina, vittima di una caduta che le è costata la frattura di una clavicola ed il conseguente ritiro dalla corsa della vicecampionessa di Russia, la formazione diretta da Dario Rossino ha avuto bisogno di una scossa psicologica forte nella frazione che portava a Mont Serein, stazione sciistica nei pressi del ben noto Mont Ventoux. E ci è riuscito grazie a Kseniia Dobrynina, connazionale e concittadina di Anna Potokina (sono entrambe originarie di Voronezh), protagonista di una importante fuga durata circa 70 km e che le ha permesso di venire eletta come atleta più combattiva del giorno. Kseniia aveva già vestito dopo la prima tappa anche la maglia blu della classifica combinata.

“E’ arrivata la scossa giusta per la squadra, che ieri è stata davvero poco fortunata tra cadute e forature. Ne avevamo bisogno, ci auguriamo che ci sia d’aiuto nei giorni a venire” – ha detto il Team Manager Dario Rossino a fine tappa.

Domani un altro tappone attende la squadra astigiana: 138 km verso Mont Lozere, nel Massiccio Centrale. Non c’è un metro di pianura, e bisognerà affrontare anche la Montee Jalabert a Mende, già arrivo in passato in alcune edizioni del Tour de France maschile.

ARDECHE, DOBRYNINA IS THE MOST FIGHTING RIDER IN STAGE 3

A “double-faced” day for the Team Servetto – Stradalli – Alurecycling in France: the night has been passed in the hospital with Anna Potokina, victim of a crash yesterday that broke a collarbone. She abandoned the race so the Team directed by Dario Rossino needed something motivating in the stage 3 with the uphill finish in Mont Serein, close to the notorious Mont Ventoux. Kseniia Dobrynina, compatriot and fellow citizen with Anna Potokina (they both come from the Russian town of Voronezh), was in a breakaway for about 70 kms, and this permitted her to be voted as most fighting rider of the day. Kseniaa weared at the end of the stage 1 the Blue Jersey as leader of the Combined Classification.

“The necessary shock arrived, the team was very unlucky yesterday due to crashes and punctures. We needed it and now we hope that it will help us in the upcoming days.” – said the Team Manager Dario Rossino after the stage.

Another queen stage will wait the team from Asti: 138 kms with the uphill finish of Mont Lozere, on the Central Massif. There is no flat and the Montee Jalabert, near Mende (Stage finish in several editions of the Men’s Tour de France) is in the stage route.
