A CACCIA DI GRANDI RISULTATI AL TOUR DE L’ARDECHE

Dopo il Giro di Toscana, si torna subito in gara, stavolta sulle strade francesi nella zona tra Massiccio Centrale e Alpi. Da venerdì 13 a giovedì 19 settembre la formazione diretta da Dario Rossino composta da Anna Potokina, Kseniia Dobrynina, Francesca Cauz, Sara Casasola, Yevgeniya Vysotska e Marketa Hajkova si cimenteranno al Tour de l’Ardeche, una delle corse a tappe più impegnative alla vigilia dei Campionati del Mondo che si correranno nella regione inglese dello Yorkshire a fine mese. 

La gara transalpina è composta da sette frazioni in linea: si parte subito con la Saint-Paul-le-Jeune – Aubenas di 127 km, che include a metà percorso l’impegnativo Col de Peyre e lo strappo finale. La seconda tappa va da Mende ai 1414 metri del Mont Lozere e con susseguirsi di salite dure per ben 139 km. Ancora 127 km il giorno successivo da Avignon ad Apt per un altro giorno non facile. Frazione meno dura ma sempre ricca di trappole è la quarta, da Savasse a Montboucher di 138 km, così come la quinta di 112 km tra Saint-Georges-les-Bains e Saint-Felicien. La penultima tappa, 111 km da Saint-Sauveur-de-Montagut a Beauchaste, presenta il finale in discesa dal GPM di Col de Mure. Il gran finale, breve ma intenso, si sviluppa sugli 87 km da Chomerac a Privas, dove verrà assegnato il successo finale della leader della classifica generale. 

“Il Tour de l’Ardeche è una corsa a cui teniamo molto” – racconta il Team Manager Dario Rossino – “L’anno scorso siamo state una delle squadre che hanno infiammato la gara dall’inizio alla fine, in particolare con Kseniia Dobrynina. Cercheremo di fare altrettanto nel 2019, in vista dei Mondiali”.

The team is back to race after the experience at the Giro di Toscana – Memorial Michela Fanini. We are now in France, between the Massif Central and the Alps, where the Team Servetto – Piumate – Beltrami TSA will race from the 13th and 19th  September. The line-up for the Tour de l’Ardeche is composed by Anna Potokina, Kseniia Dobrynina, Francesca Cauz, Sara Casasola, Yevgeniya Vysotska and Marketa Hajkova, with Dario Rossino as Team Manager. This race is one of the hardest stage races before the 2019 Road World Championships in Yorkshire (England) at the end of the month.

The French race is composed by seven stages: 127 kms on the opening day between Saint-Paul-le-Jaune to Aubenas, including the hard climb of the Col de Peyre and the final steep climb. The stage 2 goes from mende to the 1414 of the Mont Lozere with a selection of hard climbs for 139 kms. Again 127 kms on the following day for the stage 3 between Avignon and Apt for another tricky day. The 4th stage, 138 kms from Savasse to Montboucher, looks easier but it is again full of tricks, same as the 5th one from Saint-Georges-les-Bains to Saint-Felicien. The penultimate stage, 111 kms from Saint-Sauveur-de-Montagut to Beauchaste, has a descending final from the climb to Col de Mure. The big final, short but intense, is on the 87 kms from Chomerac to Privas, where the overall win will be celebrate with the leader of the general classification.

“The Tour de l’Ardeche is a very important race for us” – says the Team manager Dario Rossino – “We have been one of the biggest teams last year, as we gave “fire and flames” to the race from the start to its finish, especially with Kseniia Dobrynina. We hope to do the same even in 2019, with a look to the World Championships.”
